Tag, I'm it...
So I got tagged by my good friend whom I dearly miss in Texas!! And no, even if you have been gone for 5 years, it's not like you should miss us yet (or ever for that matter)!
So I have to tell FIVE things that I love about each of my kids.
1. Ellie -
(1) She is an amazingly imaginative kid. She can find something to play with when there is nothing at all. Who needs expensive barbies when you can make a piece of rope just as entertaining? (2) She is a great helper. She is still learning the ins and outs of doing her "responsibilities" but when she wants to this girl is a great helper. She can clean her room like a pro and she puts the toys away awesome! She tries to help teach the boys how it's done right, although she does have to work on her patience with that part but hey, so do I. (3) She loves to learn! She can learn things so quickly. She LOVES her homework and wants to get it done all by herself even though she can't read it yet. She is picking up on her high frequency words really fast and wants to read stories to you instead of listening all the time. She even likes to read to Isaac at bedtimes once in a while. One things she is amazing at when it comes to learning is teaching herself. When she wants something she will go after it! For example, she wanted ride a bike without training wheels. She was just going to practice on her cousins bike, but then, two tries later, she was off and riding without ever having to be "taught" how. (4) She is a Beautiful girl. She has a radiant personality and a rather appealing exterior. Her hair is gorgeous, although we still struggle with the brushing it thing sometimes, but when she has it all done up, she's a doll. I only wish I had her cute little figure. She can wear some of the cutest things. I have to admit I use her - I live vicariously through her. (5) She is a fantastic artist. She loves to draw and color and paint. She will sit for hours and entertain herself by drawing "stories" and painting in her books. She does really well with color composition and everyone in her photos are tall and thin :) I love to see how she tries to make different emotions by changing their facial expressions. She's so fun.
2. Isaac -
(1) He could get away with murder! This kid can be so charming and cute when he wants to. He just has that little smile and blond hair that gets him out of trouble (sometimes). He is just an all around handsome boy. (2) He is so considerate and concerned about others. Isaac is always making sure that everyone else gets some too. He likes to take a treat to Ellie when he is getting one even if she didn't ask for it. He will share most things really well. He wants to make everyone feel welcome and happy and so he does what he can to make it so. He is our peacemaker. (3) He loves to be outside. This kid has loved the outdoors since he could crawl. He would crawl into the permabark in the front flower bed and sit there throwing rocks all day long if I would let him. Now, he is out riding his bike no matter what the weather. He will be ready to loose those training wheels soon I imagine. He plays out back on the swings and digs in the dirt and loves it. He also really LOVES to camp. He has asked several times in the last few weeks if we can go to the mountains, he doesn't care that its' freezing. He also loves to ride "daddy's bike" or motorbikes/fourwheelers. This boys is a die hard. Anytime one starts up, he's chasing after it for a ride. (4) He loves his big sister. He wants to do everything that Ellie does and do it just like her, even down the the sounds of her voice when she talks. He will do anything she tells him too and he never tires of her bossiness. He admires every aspect of her life and misses her dearly when she is away at school.m (5) He will come and cook with me in the kitchen. He really enjoys making different meals and treats with me. He especially enjoys being the taster :) He eats most things and I enjoy that he wants to help make them too.
3. Liam -
(1) He is just a chubba! We love that he has been a rolly-polly of a boy. His fat rolls have always made us smile, but now that he is walking it is so cute to see him toddle around with those little legs. (2) He is Happy! Liam is always happy. He smiles and giggles at everything. When I walk into a room, regardless of how long or little I was out of the room, he will get so excited to see me. He toddles over as fast as he can with a huge grin on his face and gives me the biggest hug. (3) He talks. I love to hear him babble. He will go on and on about anything he sees. Sometimes you could swear it were an actual conversation. The sounds he makes and the expressions he will use along with his arm movements are just darling. I love to hear him talk and could listen to it all day long. (4) He is an independent player. He will go off and sit in the corner playing with the toys. He doesn't have to have me or the kids around all the time to stay entertained. He loves company but isn't afraid to leave my side and go explore. He can be alone and still be happy, so long as he knows we are just around the corner. (5) He is my youngest. It's hard to see them all getting so much older and so I relish that he is still my baby, of sorts. He is still innocent enough to love mommy no matter what she does or where he goes. He wants my comfort and needs my attention. It feels good to be his mommy.
This was a fun little thing to do. It makes me realize how great it is to be my kids' mom! I love them, even if they aren't perfect :)
OK, so now I get to tag people. I want to tag Sheri B., Alisa J. and Keenan W.

That was a cute tag! I will do it this week!
See, that wasn't so bad. It's great to hear about your kids. And, truthfully, I was wondering if it was possible to love three at one time. I guess it is, only three more months to get used to the idea here. Thanks.
