Play time

The kids have really enjoyed the snow, but for too long now the snow hasn't stuck around. Instead it has left a muddy mess behind. We can only be indoors for so long, so I gave in and out we went. They couldn't wait to get on their scooters and ride around. Liam enjoyed a "push" on his little "bike" for the first time. Every time Isaac touched it he would scream at him - his way of saying " back off! This ones mine!"

Liam on the beginners bike. It was once Isaac's favorite thing so it was hard to convince him that it was OK for Liam to have it now.

Heading out to ride.

Liam is our little runaway. Ellie was being helpful by catching him as he ran out to the road and Isaac wanted to join in. This was the resulting group effort.

This photo isn't really associated with the play day, but I thought it was pretty cute to share. I am a big control freak (as most of you know) and I have a hard time letting my children make messes of themselves at feeding time, so I usually feed them the messy stuff (at least when they are young). Well, I took that step and let Liam feed himself this day. It was Yogurt and he loved it. He had a nice little yogurt beard by the end, but all in all, he did a great job of actually eating it and not flinging it across the room or dropping globs to the floor (not that he has ever done that before :).

fun pics of the kids playing outside. Cute hats too...I wonder where you got those? ha ha. Little Liam feeding himself is great. Boston is messy too but now so independent that he hardly lets me feed him.
